Fire Safety & Emergency Medical Assistance

Serving the Greater Woodburn Community Since 1901

The Woodburn Fire District was established in 1901. Our current district contains 4 stations, 16 full time staff, and provides fire suppression, fire prevention services, and emergency medical assistance to residents located within its 75-square-mile boundary. Our boundary includes the city of Woodburn, the city of Gervais, and a large area of unincorporated northern Marion County.

Each career shift is staffed with a 4 person constant staffing that rotates in 24 hour increments. Shifts are staffed by one EMT certified Lieutenant, two EMT certified Engineers, and one Paramedic. These members provide alarm coverage 365 days a year. Adding volunteer members to our staffing is extremely vital to the success of our district. We rely on their assistance when multiple calls come in or when large incidents occur that require more man power.

We are committed to working together towards building a stronger safer society. We are truly grateful and proud to serve these communities and call this our home.
