Our Board of Directors meet the third Wednesday of every month. All meetings are open to the public, and begin at 7:00 pm.

SPECIAL MEETING NOTICE, APRIL 15, 2026

The Board of Directors of the Woodburn Fire District will hold a special meetong on Wednesday, April 15, 2026 at 5:30 p.m. The meeting will take place at the Woodburn Fire District Main Station, located at 1776 Newberg Hwy., Woodburn, Oregon.

The purpose of this special meeting is to appoint citizen members to the Budget Committee for fiscal year July 1, 2026 through June 30, 2027 in accordance with Oregon Local Budget Law. This is a public meeting.

Immediately following the specil meeting, the Budget Committee will convene to recieve the budgete message and being its review of the proposed budget for the 2026-2027 fiscal year budget.  Join meeting (via TEAMS)

 A public meeting of the Budget Committee of the Woodburn Fire District, Marion County, State of Oregon, to discuss the budget for the fiscal year July 1, 2026, to June 30, 2027, will be held at the Woodburn Fire District Headquarters, 1776 Newberg Hwy, Woodburn.  The meeting will take place on April 15, 2026, at 5:30 p.m. The purpose of the meeting is to receive the budget message and to receive comments from the public on the budget. 

This is a public meeting where Budget Committee deliberations will take place.  Any person may appear at the meeting and discuss the proposed programs with the Budget Committee.

If needed, an additional separate meeting of the Budget Committee will be held to take public comment. Any person may appear at the meeting and discuss the proposed programs with the Budget Committee. If needed, this second meeting will be held on:

May 20, 2026, at 5:30 p.m., at Woodburn Fire District Headquarters, 1776 Newberg Hwy, Woodburn.

A copy of the budget document may be inspected or obtained on or after April 10, 2026, at Woodburn Fire District Headquarters, 1776 Newberg Hwy, Woodburn, between the hours of 8:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m.

Civil Service Commission

The Civil Service Commission meets quarterly. The meeting location and time may vary depending on availablity. Notices of meetings are published in advance. The Commission oversees the process of hiring firefighters, approves hiring lists, and ensures that firefighters are treated equitably and fairly in disciplinary actions.
