Woodburn Fire District Announces Promotion of Firefighter Paramedic Ryan Johnson to Lieutenant
The Woodburn Fire District is proud to announce the promotion of Firefighter Paramedic Ryan Johnson to the rank of Lieutenant.
Lieutenant Johnson began his career with the district in 2014 and has since dedicated over 11 years of distinguished service to the community. Throughout his career, he has consistently exemplified the personal character, values, and leadership that define the very best in the fire service.
In addition to his operational duties, Lieutenant Johnson has been actively involved in several key committees that support the District’s mission, including the Training, EMS, Awards, and Labor Management Committees, contributing valuable insight and leadership to each.
Lieutenant Johnson will be assigned to Engine Company 22, located on James Street in Woodburn, where he will be charged with leading and training 3 other firefighter engineers.
“Ryan’s professionalism, integrity, and strong work ethic are reflected in all that he does. He is a role model within the department, a trusted leader among his peers, and a dedicated servant to the community,” said Fire Chief Jim Walker.
Lieutenant Johnson resides in Silverton with his wife, Jackie and their two sons.
